I ended up taking a brief trip to San Antonio. By some stroke of luck, the moon passed directly behind a tower - one of those touristy look-out towers that they have in cities - and I got a few neat pictures from my hotel. This might seem dull to you, most of these are the same photo over and over again.



The moon is directly behind the tower.


Here it is with a slightly longer exposure time. You can see a few stars too, which amazes me.


That building with the posts sticking up out of it is the Alamodome.

Now you can see the moon slipping out from behind the tower. Told you it was there...
